Here's the thing: If a signature or avatar does not break the rules, we'd rather not intervene. When we do, people call out "favoritism" and "unfairness" left and right, and that's just not fair to us.
So, we've decided to tell you guys how you can block any image on the internet, thus enabling you to block so-and-so's signature or avatar without having to turn all of them off.
There's this really nifty add-on for Chrome and FF called Adblock Plus. Once you have it installed, all you have to do is right click the image you never want to see again, select "Block Element", and, well, you'll probably never see it again.

Alternatively,
There's an extension for Google Chrome called Cloak.
It's very simple to use and I like it. It allows you to remove images and elements from Web pages.
"To get started, simply select the extension icon (in the upper right) and click on "Remove". You will be prompted to select the element you want to block."
Then you just click on a picture and it disappears. You can go to the "Options" menu to adjust anything that you removed or made invisible.
Happy blocking.
