Let's talk about huge lucky finish and drop rates

  Getting a Lucky Finish is completely random.

  
  Really? Or does critical/luck play a part?
  Why are there still some players believing that critical rates play a part in being lucky?
  
  CP affecting drop rates -> where do I get this information from? Is it true or just a myth?

  I'm nearly positive that luck affects it and critical does not. I believe that cp effects drop rates in some way.

  I still think that Lucky Finishes are very slightly affected by your luck stat in-game, but more-so affected by your irl Luck stat.
  Though I haven't the slightest clue how to check your irl Luck stat

  Maybe if you get a Sburbs/Mabinogi Hybrid game and have your partner check your stats. :P
  But that'd be kinda fun if you take out the impending doom part. :evil:

  The way I see it, because lucky finishes are always critical finishes, having higher crit raises the chances of getting one. Idk if luk plays any role in it, but it does add crit. At any rate, what I can say for sure is that I get a lot more lucky finishes when using lucky guy title or falcon (falcon doesn't raise luk, however, only crit).

  that's interesting. i was told only the stat luck affects huge luckies, not crit. also, yeah, weak/weakest have a lesser drop rate, but other cp levels should drop at the same rate.

  I do believe the CP thing, I was finding for Aavark claw's for musical book exploration quest and I was hunting for it with and without -CP equip. I was hunting for a considerable amount of time for claws without -CP equips. I got the claws fairly easily with use of -CP equips.

  that's probably because you never really fight the weaker things. people normally fight stronger monsters. that is why you got more huge luckies from them.

  I think was between 200-300CP after equipping. I was about 1000+ CP before equipping -cp equips. At that time I didn't have Jackal so I only have -800CP set.
  
  Also, I don't get lucky finishes much on the weaker monsters. I know this because I have been spamming Alby Normal like mad to train enchanting all these while.

  I get like 1 Huge Lucky a hour when I'm dungeoning. I don't remember getting that much huge luckies when I had low Luck (17) now I have 90 Luck

  I can get lucky finishes without crit too. Not sure about the crit affecting the lucky finish rate though, I personally don't believe in it.

  Windmill tends to activate crit to all mobs in range....and ive gotten a couple of huge luckies from that factor....
  
  other than that....to me its all random moment whenever I get get huge luckies....usally somewhere least expected o.o

  The number of mobs just gives you more chances because there are more monsters to get a lucky finish off of... I recently got a huge lucky on a zombie but didn't get one simultaneously with the other zombies I hit at the same time, so lucky finishes aren't shared like crit is with wm
