All I really have to work with here is an old display driver that seems to not be updatable..
There is one more method we could try for updating.
Go to Device Manager (should show up when typed into the Windows search bar in your Start menu) and
expand Display adapters,
right-clicking on your Intel 82945g and
clicking "Update Driver Software..."
Have Windows look for an update for you and see if anything surfaces.
Besides the questions I had in my last post and this third alternative method to updating, this is really all I have left. Sorry. :/
