What's weird is that they don't remember the murders they did back in their titan form (before being able to switch between human and titan), and that they somehow randomly turned back into humans at some point? I just read 47 since they didn't update that chapter on Batoto for some reason. Ymir is over 60 years old, so that's kinda weird.

Yeah, it's like how Eren says he doesn't remember swiping at Mikasa when he first transformed or how Ymir says she doesn't remember the first 60 years of her life as a Titan. Maybe the Titans go through some form of hibernation? Like the ones in the walls and afterwards they're able to gain some sense of control and transform back into humans? But it depends on the size and the type of Titan too and those who go out and kill people lacked the control because they weren't hibernating? Or never got the chance to.
Also, chapter 48 isn't out yet, we have probably a week or two to wait.

I feel like, according to your theory (which makes sense), every titan is able to turn back into their human forms. So I guess you can say that they are all hibernating. The real question is, what happens when they turn back into humans? Is there a cult recruiting the titan shifters or something? And why is Eren circumstances different from the rest. It didn't seem like he was a wandering titan for all these years. The timeline is also a bit confusing for me. It didn't seem like titans were a thing when Eren met Mikasa (I'm not sure though), yet Ymir was wandering as a titan for 60 years?
I always get the story confused when it comes to monthly releases.
Another thing is that I know Annie turns gets encased in a crystal after she turns into a Titan for the first time, I dunno why though, did they encase her in a crystal? Or did he just leave Titan form like that.

I thought Ymir was a wall Titan, that's why she sought out Christa because she knew a ton about the Titans in the walls. Also, Eren's situation is VERY different. My theory is that in hibernation, it's kinda like meditation. After a while, they know the ins and outs of being Titans for so long and eventually learn how to transform back into humans while in stasis. Eren was never a Titan for as long as the others, so he never got a chance to figure out the different parts of being a Titan, such as remaining under control and transforming back into a human. I also grabbed bits and parts from the fact that the Titan shifters may in fact be much older than they look, which is evident with Ymir. I think it has something to do with experience, and the longer you've been a Titan, the more you can control yourself, but it still depends on the size and type of the Titan.

It wasn't her first time turning into a Titan, but she got entrapped into a crystal right before being captured. I'm not sure if that's self-inflicted or not, but it has nothing to do with Eren's party.

Oh damn, I didn't think of Ymir being a wall titan. That makes sense. Now I'm kinda hoping that Reiner succeeds in bringing them back to their hideout, just so that we can actually learn a little bit more about their motives.

Zzzz, I don't get it then, if some people were Titans before, then does that mean they're all adopted children? Because you need to come out of a vagina to be born as a human. Or is everyone just a Titan and they don't know it?

There was a part where Connie goes looking for his family and it felt like it was hinting that the titan with deformed legs was his mother... Also, Eren's father gave him shots? or something in his flashbacks. I want to believe this was some sort of secret experiment gone wrong and out of control [S]that spread like zombies[/S].

I'm going with humans turning into titans due to some kind of epidemic.

I love how Reiner just comes out of that untouched.
Obvious much? Also, how did Annie know where Eren was? How did Reiner even tell her? Like, I guess he said it and she listened but all I heard was screaming from him.

Cover your ears?
I'm assuming that shot is going to produce some sound that'll distract the Titan? Because if the Titan cover it's ears it'll still kill them if they try to kill her, because well the Titan is just killing everyone right now.
.
