Guide to Changing BGM's in S4L

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Heres is a guide to changing your music files on S4 League. Personally updated/edited by me from the original one on the alaplaya forums.

What you need:
Songs you like
A converter to change to .ogg format
S4 League

First off you need a file converter. I personally use
Any Video Converter - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com
But you can use whichever one you prefer.

~Go to your S4 League folder and click on BGM folder.
[SIZE="1"](Example: C:\Program Files\alaplaya\S4League\BGM )
That folder is empty (only a text file in it)[/SIZE]
~Add to that folder OGG files (as many you want )

~Enter the game.
[SIZE="3"]~In a lobby press SET UP button[/SIZE]

[SIZE="3"]Choose SOUND --> Juke box[/SIZE]

[SIZE="3"]In this box you can change the background music.

Location (LOBBY) is MAP where you can change the music for the Lobby.
Total list (LOBBY) is the music file which you can choose for that location.
Selection List (LOBBY) is the music which you are using right now.

Now we will edit the Background Music[/SIZE]

[SIZE="3"]Choose any location from the 'LOCATION' list (example: Neden-2)
Choose any music file from the 'TOTAL LIST' (example: Amusic002.ogg)
Move it (with UP and DOWN buttons) to the 'SELECTION LIST'

Now you need to remove old music from the list.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="3"]Choose from the 'SELECTION LIST' old file (Fuzzy Control) and move it to the 'TOTAL LIST' (With the UP button)

Now we are almost done.[/SIZE]

Remember in the 'SELECTION LIST' must be only 1 file (If there are more 2 different musics will play but after the other. Goes in the order you put them in)

Press 'APPLY' button.

P.S. If you press 'RESET' button all music will be back to old one.
No need to restart the game client.

Is this Legal? Generally it is not allowed for you to modify game clients but in this case it's ALLOWED because that JUKE BOX option is made specially for this. This is not a hack.

If you don't know where to get .OGG files I can create that files for you and share It with you. You also can request OGG files from me:
-Song name and artist
-Download link ( via MediaFire, megaupload or 4shared, other file hostlers I don't accept) if this song not in Japanese or Korean language. If It's in Japanese then just Song name+ artist is enough.

Well the ogg file you put into the folder will appear in the selections list permanently, until you erase it. But yeah you have to go through manually and change it. I'd suggest putting in all 3 songs, and making em different for each map otherwise you'll hear the same song over and over and over and over and over and over.

It goes by faster then you think too.

It's not just videos LOL.

Click on the drop down button where it says "windows media wmv w.e" and choose ogg under music o.e

I'm not a big fan oh Asian music. >:
It's not all bad but I like to hear some of my music too if I'm playing for 2-3 hours.

That's what the program was made for. Unless you go into Windows movie maker, save it as a wmv, put into the converter
