They are still trailers though. :o
Yes, they are, but I think you're missing the point of this thread...
Still, it's worth noting that trailers rendered with the game engine can still be rather misleading, but it requires conscious effort, like using in-game resources that aren't really used as part of the game.
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
A few issues... (and yes, this gets rather nit-picky)
- 0:18-0:41 All of the animations in this cutscene can be performed in-game (aside from the stance and look over her shoulder at the end), and there is a blood decal system (where it hasn't been censored), but it only bloodies the ground momentarily. Never does blood get on the player character, nor does any armor the player can wear have a "damaged" effect for it.
- 1:22 While there are animations for drawing weapons, it's not something you can do in the game.
- 1:28 The lancer jumps down in a fashion that is not possible in-game.
- 1:37 The castanic seems to be leaning as she turns while running...which doesn't happen in-game, iirc.
- 1:45 When does an enemy ever jump out like this?
- 1:52 Pterippi fly in fixed paths to and from portals...a scene like this isn't possible. A conga line of them is all that could be done.
- 2:11+ All of this seems like one long cutscene. I'm not sure if it's part of the game or if it was simply created as promotional material.
