I saw Kueh's guide, I started reading but my eyes glazed over (only just woke up, lol).
I may or may not be in.

Oh, we're starting this again? I'm definitely in. Anyone as DM is fine as long as we get this back up and running again.

Was interested in playing/running- then saw it was 4e.
So uncivilized :< But if you guys ever make the switch up to pathfinder, I'm totally in. Good luck to ya either way <3

Hey. 4e can be cool too!~
I've never played Pathfinder, but I have played a bit of 3.5e.

Pathfinder is basically far smoother, less bloaty, fixed 3.5. Only you can add 3.5 stuff to it if you really wanna >;D
4e... Eh. I don't want this to turn into an edition wars thing so I'mma keep my opinions shushed. <_<;;

I probably hold some of your same opinions - don't worry.
But I can say that 4e is a lot easier for newer players of D&D to get into. As well as the fact that our last game was also 4e.

I gave the pathfinder rules a skim, and I think that, while I like the extra ability/feat options as well as (for it's my impression) the flexibility of classes being greater, the rules aren't an improvement over 4e's. Though, I read that the pathfinder campaigns are better than 4e's.
Considering that, I think the most logical option is to run vanilla 4e for the people who need to get play experience (myself included) and then adapt the extra features of pathfinder into the 4e rules.
