Camell? If dyed right it can look good.

Stitched Robe Armor is a nice Elf-only Light Armor that is easy for high-ranking Tailors to make.

Yeah, I was looking at it However I don't see it selling now and I can't Imagine it being cheap for someone to tailor for me : \

The next closest that I like is
Cross Belt Leather Coat. It's the only other decent Female Elf armor that looks good and have high dura.

I love the look of my Esteban Mail(F). Got it for free and was back when dyes were still plentiful. Although I'm guessing you're just going for looks so it's all subjective anyways.

Esteban is nice. Stitched Robe Armor isn't a lot, ~1.2m. You should put up a party buying one if you want one, and have the money to buy it.
I also recommend Middle and High-class leather armors. I had a Middle-class for a while, and I was satisfied with it.

I use a cross stitched leather, and while I love it and its been with me a long time, the fact that you can't dye it well because its leather irks me.
Especially since it's monochromatic, and very long, its hard to accessorize it in a way that makes me happy... So I usually wear my starlight over it.

Do the Middle and High class work for elves?

Yes, they're light armors.

If you're worried about price, though, I don't think you want to go for the high-class. It's r1 tailor, as opposed to Stitched Long-Robe Armor being r6. It's harder to make, and more expensive.

High Class is only a few 100 k's more than Stitched.
