  it's largely to remove as much luck from competitive scene as possible without hacking the game itself to change the mechanics
  
  also, it ruins the point of 100% accuracy moves like earthquake, flamethrower, surf etc.
  which are all core.

  Evasion is such a terrible competitive stat >.< Brightpowder and Lax Incense are also banned under the Evasion clause, by the way.
  
  Has Smogon already decided on what the new sleep clause should be? They suddenly decided how sleep mechanics would work in BW/2, so I think you can sleep multiple things (whereas before it was impossible to do so). Last I checked, they didn't know if you should be prevented from sleeping anything, or if you should be given a loss if you manage to sleep multiple things (e.g., using Spore on what might be a Natural Cure Blissey or using Spore on a Pokemon that might wake up as opposed to not being able to use Spore at all)

  Also, I find it really funny when people rage quit because they are starting to lose. They just give up without even trying. Who knows, they may have been able to turn it around? Silly rage quitters.

  but it is better to prepare teams beforehand so you dont take up time
