  Striped along your forehead
  Is a penance of white,
  Seemingly bounding you to obey
  When anything is in sight.
  
  Undying obedience not a problem
  Especially with tenacity
  To help, heal, and hear
  Even in face of ferocity.
  
  Go on, go grab that thing!
  Hmm ... It seems you can do none but fetch it.
  Surely it must not be in your system.

  But those npc's, cept Yoff, are monsters who tries to attack you right? And the riddle sounds like they are friendly.Well, unless I'm missing something (Only finished G1 and Falcon Xform quests).
  
  Riddle reminds me of that elf and giant video, giant found a lost elf and they befriended each other, then they try to kill each other.

  That kind of makes sense. Esp since giants would see elves as short.
  
  The part of the riddle that throws me off is the 'master' part. Which come out of no where. Is the friend suddenly a master, or a separate entity all together?

  The master part is why I suggested a pet.
  Thrown away from it's own kind.
  Can be a ratman, skeleton, spider, w.e
  But the ghoul part throws me off.
  
  The first verse makes it sound like when you meet an ego coming out of soul stream.

  I can see arguments for the answer to be a spirit weapon, a lost elf, or a pet, but none of them seem to match up exactly~

  My guess is Aer (the Water Spirit Elf on CEO Island) because in the mainstream, she was hated by her kind and attacked or something, and she escaped and met the Emain Macha music guy Nele, who has crazy hair and whatever, and they have a bond or something.

  I'm going to drop out a small piece of advice.
  Ghoulish is used as a metaphorical term in this riddle;
  it does not literally mean that she will become a ghost.
