Can we expect more gender-swap characters?

  Not really looking to turn this into a "Is Vella just a female Lann or not?" thread, but I'm just going to put it this way: Both are dual-wield sword fighting characters. We could consider her the female-version of Lann even though they have differences.
  
  But could we see this as a reoccurring theme? Should we expect a male Fiona? A male Evy? A female Karok?? Female Kai?
  
  Would you want these kinds of characters?
  
  How would you see these characters coming to be? Lets make a "what if" discussion, what would you imagine Male Fiona, Male Evy, Female Karok, Female Kai look / play like?
  
  My examples:
  Male Fiona- Phineas: Would specialize in extreme defense, even more so than Fiona. Plate armor. Could wield a mace and shield for a faster playstyle or a lance and shield for a slower, defense-focused style.
  
  Male Evy- Evan?: If we're thinking of a male version of Evy specifically, he would be a young, effeminate teen, moreso than Lann. Perhaps he would be an elf? He would have a less brutal playstyle than Evy. Using a wand in one hand and a spell book in the other. He would be less Burst damage and more of a Kai-like playstyle. Shooting bolts quickly with the wand. Switching /pages/ in the book would switch the element or style of the bolts (fire, ice, lightning, or healing).
  Fire: Short range at lower focus, bigger blasts the longer you charge. high damage, slow charge time.
  Ice: Has a better freeze effect depending on how long it is charged. low damage, fast charge time.
  Lightning: Technical style, divides damage amongst amount of targets it hits. Holding the charge longer will increase the range the electricity travels. medium charge time.
  Healing: Holding the charge longer would heal more HP or provide additional buffs.
  
  Holding down the attack button would charge it much like Evy's focus, adding more damage or adding more healing potency. His battle/melee style could be a rapier perhaps?
  
  Female Karok- Karyn?: I don't necessarily imagine a giant female, although they exist in the Mabinogi universe. I just imagine a similar low-tanking style like Karok to fit a female verison of his role. I would like to say that she could be a small girl with a large weapon, such as a giant hammer. However, she could be a female giant. Knuckles and the Atlatl from Mabinogi are Giant weapons that come to mind for me. (Kai's female variant could even be a spear-throwing Giant female)

  I'd hope so, but it's tough to do without looking like copy-pasta.
  Especially a female Karok, since Karok does such a great job of being....Karok.

  This is what I pictured as 'female Karok'. A girl with a giant weapon. Only slow in combat because its hard for her to carry perhaps?
  
  None of the characters would really have to be exact gender-swapped versions, but like how Vella is "female Lann" while still being unique with a different play style.

  I love characters like the Tinkerer in Dragons Nest, little girls with big weapons, lol.
