I'll wait to see what people think of the series when it ends before investing time into it.

I actually hated Renton, so, that sounds a little better to me. Still waiting, though.

The conclusion of the anime is coming up and the story progression seems pretty good so far.
Too bad there's just too many plot holes and not enough episodes to go over them. They seriously need to do a s2 because it's just not possible to do anything meaningful in 5 episodes.

Since this is the closest thing to a E7A thread, posting here.

Yeah I saw that preview as well.
Looks like Bones is just going to go for nerdgasms by using Renton, using all three nirvashes to fight together, and a terribly designed upgrade on the Mark 1 (or 2 or whatever it's called).

ALRIGHT SORRY FOR DOUBLE POST BUT:
BONES GOD WHY U DO THIS!
I don't even. I understand the ending but god it's just one damn retcon after another. The whole solution for all the series problems was "Ao used his magical time travel powers in his destroyed mech to pull duex ex machinas all over the place". Renton's explanation of the scubs jumping through time completely shits in the face of the first E7 because the scub could have avoided the whole situation in the first place. What Ao did at the ending would have made everything in E7 NOT HAPPEN and would have made an even bigger mess but nope, apparently he saved the world because he fired a huge ass gun.
AND!! AND!!! THE BIG BAD VILLIAN WAS BUILT UP FOR NOTHING!!!!!!! AUUUUGGGHHHHHHH!!!!
If they ever decide for season 3, call it Eureka Seven: Ao's Sister Who Now Isn't a Rock.

I'm hoping you're all crazy and that Ao is good :x
Nope, it's as they described.

Basically, E7A, nothing happened. At least the insert song was great and felt nostalgic.

Just started watching this, the 1st opening is definitely not as good as the first one in Eureka Seven.

I suggest you to stop watching to save your time and temper xD

I take it back! The first opening isn't "horrible" still doesn't stand up to any of the first's opening though.

I think i liked the original's animation better. The later eps in AO do suffer a hit though.

They look fine to me so far, and I really like Pied Piper's Leader guy. The way he stands lol
