I suspect my laptop power supply tripped. But I'm not sure what I can do. Acer service centre refuses to pick up my call and now they won't be open till Monday.
It sucks because half my assignments are in there, and this is the third time I'm going down to their centre which is on the other end of the island. I don't know what the problem exactly is but the laptop won't turn on and it does not charge with the A/C.
It's dampening my impression of this brand. As much as I hate to say it, don't ever buy an Acer until they improve their services. I have another thing to say about their policies on Win 7 and 8+ hr battery but I'll leave it to another time.

I hate Acer laptops. They break easy.
Anyway, sorry to hear about that. I hope you get things cleared up.

Acer is not very well known for their customer service, I had a similar problem with my mom's laptop and HP's customer service was very helpful and courteous.
Best of lucks trying to fix your laptop.

Holy **** bro, your bummed.
i use Compaq, the only problem i've had is the sticked from the fan came off and got the fan stuck (Bit o' smoke came out) But that was easily fixed.
I've had my computer for what must be..over a year..

- Way too incredible that I'm getting twice of blue screens on my main computer today.
- And my laptop is "zapped" (I'm seriously hoping it is the fuse, since there wasn't much heat or smoke coming up)
- And I threw away the power sockets extension because at least 2 of the sockets were faulty. I'm hoping it didn't zap my classmate's laptop....
(I must have terrible luck with computers today. So this will be my last message on Mabination today.)
Agree about HP....they offer what pick-up service...and acer doesn't even offer that.
I don't really care but if they can have more than one service centre over here and not in some difficult-to-access business park area I wouldn't mind it at all.
