Well I just made it to the level 50 mission and holy fucking hell that was 20 minutes of pure death and hell. What an impossibly difficult mission :/ I'll upload a video of me failing terribly as I try and figure out what I need to do during it :/
The mission before it wasn't any easier.
Now if you excuse me, I need to lie down and take a large break after that to regain my composure and continue playing.

Was actually kinda stupidly easy.
Yeah was pretty easy, guess story is just meant to be fun. Not a pain in the ass like the world version of him Tequatl the Sunless.. ugh.
On another note, I should be 80 by the end of the night! These higher level areas level you really quickly, was expecting the opposite.

Leveling is actually fairly easy from what I hear. Every level takes an hour, whether it's from 19->20 or 79-80.
Pretty much. Everything is scaled so its no harder to go from one level to another.

See?
If you're really trying, an hour a level is really all you need.
type "/age" on your chat to see how long you've been playing your character(s)!

Small note, I have level 142 jewel crafting so if anyone wants certain accessories (you can have one amulet, two rings and two earrings as jewellery) I'd be happy to make them for you guys.
Otherwise I haven't played that much doe to all the assessments I have going on ;-;

Well tried Twilight Arbor dungeon last night. Took us awhile to take care of the boss and figure out how to handle those Nightmare clones of the old Destiny's Edge. She kept rezzing them. When she came down to rez, we eventually beat the crap out of her once we had raped the hell out of the nightmares.

Any tips for 1v1 against Thieves in structured PvP?
Initiative, dodges, and cloaking can be difficult to handle if I'm going up against a good Thief player.

Undead dragons, not cool :(
Personal story spoilers
Blightghast the Plaguebringer, one epic boss but so annoying with his Orrian Fish things he summons. They have an annoying Magnet-type skill that keeps pulling you towards them, doesn't make it easy when trying to fight a freaking undead dragon -_- Blightghast himself was easy, just stay off to the side of his feet and you'll avoid most of his attacks.
I love ANET.
Like, so flipping much man.
A black lion chest glitched away and they sent me a replacement key.

Cripple and weakness are devastating on thieves. A lot of thieves lack cleanses, so condition damage, which continues to affect them after you run away, is sometimes more reliable than flat damage. Aoe affects invisible targets, so having a few to throw around when they cloak helps to keep the battle going in your favor. (The plus side to that is that, even if you never hit the thief, you still might hit other people.)
That being said, a major tip for pvp in general is that having at least one cleanse and at least one mobility are just common courtesies to you team mates.

Thats a ridiculous thing to say. Its a community site with millions of people. At the end of the day, you can't categorize people who go on to such a broad and diverse site into one "type" of people. Nor should you place a minority as the representative of the site as a whole.
In scale, if about 20 of us on mabination go do something stupid on mabinogi and it becomes a huge drama fest in the communities, would it be fair for other sites to start saying "we thought mabination was better than that... they must just be a brooding pit for trolls afterall"?
Funny you say that.

Well, I came across it when it was around 20 silver a piece so 1.2 gold for the set (ridiculous I know, people exploited it and got in trouble I just got what I needed). Now I believe its around 1-2+ gold a piece and weapons even more.

Yeah, I have quite few immobility skills. Axe/shield warrior with Signet of Stamina, Balanced Stance, and Throw Bolas. I wouldn't have been able to barely bested one of the good Thieves otherwise.
I suppose this means Necromancer might be more useful for them.
