^If I let myself try this I will spend too much time on it. Ohgod.
EDIT: forgot to mention, I found an underwater pipe organ the other day. That was fun.

I love the GW2 track too much to change it.

Reddit 4chan and other sites
are places where everybody turns evil, and whines, they may be good people but its where you can be a troll
Thats a ridiculous thing to say. Its a community site with millions of people. At the end of the day, you can't categorize people who go on to such a broad and diverse site into one "type" of people. Nor should you place a minority as the representative of the site as a whole.
In scale, if about 20 of us on mabination go do something stupid on mabinogi and it becomes a huge drama fest in the communities, would it be fair for other sites to start saying "we thought mabination was better than that... they must just be a brooding pit for trolls afterall"?

Quote from Rin;944582:
There's a neat feature in the GW2 client that isn't widely known to the player base: you can add in your own custom songs and playlists to the game, and the game will implement them into its dynamic music system.
For example, you can listen to your snazzy jazz album whenever you're in a capital city like Divinity's Reach, experience Final Fantasy 6 overworld theme while exploring the world, and have it dynamically switch to the greatest AC/DC heavy metal hits when you enter combat in a dynamic group event.
So how do you go about achieving this feature we know was from Mabinogi before? Here's how:
Source: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/z0fff/psa_remember_you_can_play_your_own_music_in_gw2/
To randomize the songs in a playlist:
Fascinating...Thanks for this. *starts playlist on iTunes and starts exporting them*
Time to test this out!

Boulders are the most broken objects in the game. If you don't believe me, do the first dungeon and chuck every boulder you see at the bosses.

Yeah but in explorable version you'll be happy they're OP.

Believe me, I'm happy that they're OP. I don't have to worry about how stupid my party is so long as I show them how effective chucking boulders everywhere is.

Did a jumping puzzle. Fell off many, many times. It's still not as many falls as the one that starts at Morgan's Spiral, but I think this one made me laugh more.

Pointless rant:
Reading up on thoughts about GW2 and its MMORPG direction towards the past MMORPGs that focused more on sandboxes, like Ultima Online and Star Wars Galaxies. Except it's obvious there are new MMORPGs out there that are farther in the ranges (like ArcheAge).
It's interesting how the general opinion of gamers have shifted over the years. From freedom of UO to the paced and guided experiences of WoW, then back again with GW2. It's just GW2 makes the experience fun and not tiresome in terms of work, but in terms of mental fatigue due to pacing. That's not a bad thing: it's a carrot-on-a-stick for themeparks, instead of a carrot-on-a-stick for schools.
Dynamic events are really just public quests that scale, but with on a somewhat random, repeating interval with consecutive sections depending on success or failure. But the polish and the convenience are so great, it looks like a revolution. And perhaps it actually is: this is the depth of care needed in MMORPG to revitalize "MMO".
The holy trinity or triangle isn't dead, but it's been melded into a circle or "soft trinity", where there are less extremes (or corners of the triangle) and more broad descriptions of each role, nearly overlapping each other (thus flex its... flexibility). Every class being able to fulfill any role was done before with hybrids in WoW, class changing in Eden Eternal, secondary classes in FF11, etc., but what gives these classes a reason to exist instead of being a blank slate (like the G1-G3 days of Mabinogi) is playstyle and roleplay.
Why should a healer or a buffer be someone who swore their life to the prominent church and wear stuff more suited to reading books than fighting on the battlefield? Why couldn't a healer or buffer be a medic-toting engineer, a muddy ranger, a ritualistic necromancer, or an invigorating shouter of a warrior? Why should a tank be a slow-moving knight in full armor instead of a rock-covered elementalist, a dodgy thief, or a mind-controlling mesmer?
Why do we limit classes as defined team roles, instead of being playstyles? If we accept in real life that a woman can be an army soldier while a man can be a housekeeper, then why does the general mindset of MMORPGs still do this?
This even comes down to our weapons. Who says a knight cannot wield a bow or gun, or a wanderer cannot wield heavy swords and axes? These classes do not define our jobs, but rather how we approach a job. And we all have our own ways to do it, not exactly like how another person does.
I'll have more thoughts later on.

Tried Explorer Mode for Ascalonian Catacombs yesterday. It was rough. We accidently early triggered the Spider Queen and Cave Troll while the Gargoyle Heads were still active.
I hate that Ghost Lutienant. We get all the way to the Lover's Crypt for that protect machine from Grawl's room and failed 4 times before we lost the instance all together.
RAGE! We were so close to finally clearing Lover's Crypt. We actually managed to get rid of all 4 of the burrows before that stupid Breeder murdered us only to lose all that over some blood sweat and tears.
Oh well, I know what to do next time so I'll be better prepared. I think we could have done it if they didn't accidently start before I was in the room. Luckily I'm pretty speedy when I switch to air which is why I love air.
Atm, I find myself starting to switch between elements as needed. Mostly do Earth/Fire for battling while I use lightning for some mob control and speeding across the content without using coin on waypoints.
Btw, can this get stickied yet?

Old setup:

But they were assorted mix of really low level gear. It looked good as blue too. Gave a very noble armor look.
Since the market place opened here is my new setup. Looks good in green too, but I wanted to be a pirate.

Perhaps I should customize my character more. I do like my green/blue setup. I don't know what exactly I want my Asura to be, but I do know that I want a fancy hat for combat...Saw an Asura last night with an impeccably fashionable hat that I decided, I must have at once!
Also that be a very classy Pirates. You could blend right in with those pirates.

Looks good! I'm waiting for them to bring more outfits out, but that is probably favorite one they have released right now. The only thing that bothers me is the hat. It doesn't let your hair flow down D: Stuffs it all in the hat! Thank goodness for the turn-off hat feature though, haha.

Couldn't agree more. I use that so much because I prefer seeing my Asura's hair unobstructed and I love looking at her ears.
