so i found a sketch book i bought when i was in high school and was a mandatory thing you had to buy for art class
unfortunately the only art class available was and adv art class so i was like 65 billion miles behind and eventually ended up dropping it 3 weeks in because I cant draw
I would really like to draw because the ideas i has in my head id love to slap onto paper
I thought the Skyrim Logo would be easy i attempted to draw that yesterday i barely managed to get through completing the outline of it because was soo bad looking (also the sound of pencil scratching the paper really annoys and distractsme but i cant erase pen ...)
so what are some really simple thing i could attempt to draw in order to get better?

I find the sound of pencil on paper relaxing! Anyway...
The thing to remember about drawing, no matter what it is you end up drawing, is to draw the most basic shape first. Looking at the Skyrim logo, it looks like the outermost lines would make a sort of diamond shape. Draw the outermost lines first and make sure those are drawn well. Check that the angles are correct, and the proportions as well. Even the human body can be simplified this way and in fact, most of the figure drawings I've ever done have all started as straight lines intersecting with one another.
The point is, no matter how complex something is, you can do it if you can master the basic shapes first. The important thing is to practice. If you google Andrew Loomis PDF books you should be able to find them fairly easily. There's one called "Fun With A Pencil" that has simpler drawings than the others and may be a good starting point to get you more used to drawing before moving on to other stuff, if that's what you want.

Why wouldn't you be able to? It's not like the one I recommended even has anything bad in it.

I hated my art teacher, but he said something once I really liked, I think he was quoting someone but I dunno who.
"Every artist has thousands of bad drawings in them, and the only way to get rid of them is to draw them out."

Thats what the internet is for, the internet is your art book. There are tuns of tutorial that can teach you the basics (even Youtube). I don't see why your mom becomes part of your problem also when you are just learning how to draw :v

Draw anything that comes to your mind.
Draw from nature.
Draw objects laying around your house.
Take art classes.
Don't erase, draw lightly, keep going, don't stop ever .

Who says you need an art book?
Google images is your best friend.
Try drawing shapes and making something out of them, just don't expect to get good overnight.
those super pro artists having been drawing for a year or two, they've probably been doing it all of their lives.
It's hard work.
I'm not good at realism, but I love cartoons, because you can make the anatomy how you want, it doesn't necessarily need to be accurate to be art.
Paper and pencils are cheap, if you want to spend a bit more you could buy a tablet and then you have unlimited art supplies.
I enjoy pencil and paper more, I tried to get used to a tablet but I couldn't.
I use this:

If you can manage, the books are all in PDF format so you could save them to the computer when she's not home. It may still be difficult to use them if she starts to wonder where you got them from, though.

...If you have a Barnes and Noble in your area or any other sort of bookstore you could grab some books and sit in the corner while practicing.
Or you could try the library, but they usually have diddly squat when it comes to art books. (at least from my experience)
Also if you do check out some free books I'd be weary about reading anything that says "How To Draw ____" by Christopher Hart.
You could also just look at stuff in your room or draw things you see as you sit around in places. Don't get discouraged if your drawing looks all wonky, drawing from life is a pain but it's very rewarding.
