It has a very smooth surface, and so it only barely wears down the tip of the pen.

When I graduate highschool, I'm getting a better tablet. One with far better pressure options... I quickly found my limits with this.

If you're on a strict budget and aren't picky, or are a beginner, then this is definitely a good one.

The first pen tip I had for my bamboo fun wore down at a decent rate. It was missing a good millimeter before I was like "wtf my pen is working like crap". Then I changed it and it was amazing. It starts leaving tails if it wears down.
