So, lately, I've had a bit more of an interest in instruments, but I've decided that I possibly should just start off with something not too hard like the piano or the drums...not to assume that a harmonica or flute will be any easier.

So, anyways, I came across this song when I was listening to some MP3s I found in the Mabinogi music folder, and it's awesome. I would LOVE to be able to play this on a flute or harmonica!

However, I'm a bit confused on two things: Where did the other version come from, and what type of harmonica and/or flute do I need to play this right?

You see, the version I got on my mp3 is shorter and higher pitched, and I'd prefer to play it instead simply because it's shorter and I like the sound of it a bit more, even though I'm far off from being able to play that well.

Only tonight have I found the other, longer and lower pitched sounding version. I'm curious to where people found it and how they got it.

When I tried to look into ordering a harmonica, it asked for me to choose an option. I opened the drop-down menu and saw various letters that I assume represent keys, even though the harmonica I was thinking of getting has 24 holes.

I don't know a lot about this, so help would be nice.

You're not going to want a harmonica if you're trying to play this with the same kind of sound as what is in the song. What you're going to want is either a wooden or reed flute or an ocarina. I can't really specify the exact instrument that it is, but I'd probably lean toward a reed flute, given that the country of origin is Korea. You can find locations to buy them on Google.

I'm really not expecting to get the exact same sound with a Harmonica, but honestly, the idea of trying to blow into an individual hole when it's so close to other holes sounds kinda hard too. Also, I remember reading something about "bending" harmonicas when playing them, and that it has to be a used one or one that you've broken in a bit and not a new one. For some reason, I don't like the sound of that. An instrument not being at it's max potential from the get-go.

Well, it seemed like the easiest choice at the time. I'll have to see how these instruments sound and see how expensive they are.

I like the style of the ocarina a lot, but I like the sound of a reed flute a bit more. Or at least, I think I do. I will have to watch more videos and listen a bit more.
