Obama's speech apparently generated 53k tweets per minute. o_o

Haven't watched it yet, as I gotta get my butt to work.
Earlier, Bill Clinton delivered a pretty killer speech at the DNC.

watched Julian Castro, Michelle Obama's and Clinton's speech
they didnt have to say much to point out the Republican party's shenanigans

I loved the comment that Bill Clinton made regarding the Republican stance on the Democratic party.
I want to believe that everyone in this election, despite the mud slinging, has a selfless dedication to improving our country. The economy was strong while President Clinton was in office. That's our goal. I'm not sure if either candidate can pull us out of debt but I won't go so far as to say that they can't do it.
Ultimately, I want to live in an America lead by the fearless and not by the fearful.
Edit(1): I wanted to add that I absolutely despise the whole Republican VS Democrat; Red VS Blue conflict in the United States. Is this simply how we've learned to handle politics? Have we become so apathetic that staying informed isn't worth our time?
