Let's certainly hope not. What tablet is it?

Wacom Bamboo CAPTURE -______- It did it AGAIN. I hate this. Should I call them up? I want a refund if its going to be non-pressure-sensitivity all the time and requires reinstallation. I don't mess with settings.
I just googled and it's a well known problem. They better give me a refund >__>

Well try to go to the settings in bamboo dock for your tablet and work from there since bamboo dock is the program that triggers sensitivity (or from what I experienced) Also, check if the tablet is fully connected the the usb wire thing :3

Ah, that sounds terrible. I'd be really irritated if I had to keep doing that. You should definitely contact them if this problem persists.

I used to have this problem with my (now positively ancient) Graphire4 4x5. I remember this being a common complaint when Graphires (basically Bamboo's predecessor) and certain Intuos models were rampant years ago. I think there's just something about Wacom's budget models that makes things go wacky, especially since their cheap prices means many people buying = many different machines for drivers to break, wonk and just go wrong.
I basically disconnect/reconnected/restarted and reinstalled a lot until the problem apparently cleared up on its own, and this was when it was new. Pressure sensitivity in your program of choice might have something to do with it as well. Good luck, though, and yeah, if all else fails just get dat paper back.

Haha yeah it sucks. With heavy duty googling, I found a solution. I have to open Photoshop "run as admin" if I want it to work lol
