Earlier when hauling a couch through my door, my door pushed into my fiberboard (pretty much cardboard) computer desk, causing it to collapse into a heap of wood, computer parts and misc. crap.
I set my computer up on a chair with my monitor on the other, in front of my couch. I have my mouse on the arm of my couch, on my mousepad, the mousepad sitting on a non-flexible SNES mousepad. My keyboard is on my lap, and I have the monitor's resolution set to 800 x 600 so I can read text better. My ethernet cable goes all the way from my computer to the port, about 5 feet away. The couch is comfortable, while my computer chair was annoyingly uncomfortable.
The question is: Is this sad, or freakin' awesome?

It's freaking awesome. You should be way more comfortable shooting stuff now.
Just like Peter Griffin/Han Solo in that family guy parody of star wars.

One time I just set up my monitor on the tower and laid the rest on the carpet and lied down just to play maplestory.

I would say it's awesome, but it's sad because you're more comfortable in a makeshift workplace than one you most likely spent some time into building.
