Can we get away from the whole apple and android debate here. That's not the point of the Wii U :(
I still have my doubts on the Wii U though. There's no games that I want on it. So far, the Wii I got, I bought used and only bought it for Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword and maybe Mario Kart. Other than that, I don't use it.
My 3DS has 10x the amount of use as my Wii's gotten due to the sheer amount of games I enjoy a lot more on the DS. (Namely pokemon and Zelda titles, surprise surprise)
So far it's mostly ports and multiplats, and the usual release shovelware. I saw the conference and most of Activision titles look like they were in development for the Wii and just got rushed to the WiiU.
There ¡s Wonderful 101, which honestly, I'm on the fence about. Looks like a quirky experimental title and good things can come out from it, but still not a system seller for me. Pikmin 3 might interest you if you enjoyed the previous games, and I honestly cannot wait for march to come for some Monster Hunter action.
The launch lineup is pretty solid, there's a bit of everything for everyone. I know you mentioned how you're enjoying your 3DS more, but compared to it's launchdate, the U wipes the floor with it. Zelda and more mario will come down the line I'm sure, I just hope they don't hold zelda until the console is near death

Probably not because Wii U has its own dedicated controller.

Yeah, I know about the pro, but I'm doubtful that's the reason why there'll be no GC Backwards compatibility. If I recall, the newer Wii models don't have it either, so if anything, ninty is just phasing out the old hardware.
