I also understand this, but from a logical moralistic point of view, I don't see Japan has holding the blame for it. I understand why people mgiht coem to think it's Japan's fault.. but deep down to the logic of it, people in the end are responsible in the actions they take. Stupidity and Sheepness are never going to be valid logical reason to use in an argument of what is Right to do.
But that's just my way of thinking as someone who doesn't get influhenced by others and so cannot understand the way of life of people who do.
If this turns into a war, and the war ends, the war crimes will most definitely go straight to the leaders of Japan for instigating this problem.
Chain of events as follows:
1. Chinese are restless due to their government caving to Japanese diplomatic pressure on the territorial claims of the islands
2. Chinese begin protests
3. Chinese are constantly making threats and are on the verge of tipping towards violence
4. Japan says "lol try it" and nationalizes the islands
5. Mob
6. Looting and Pillagings
I mean the people who are acting out in violence should be arrested and charged individually. I'm not saying let them go scotch free and place all the crime on the guys in Japan. Thats ridiculous.
But if this turns out to be something big, then in 50 years from now we're going to look into history and we'll all know who is to blame.
Whats really peculiar about this case are the two things:
Why did Japan do this? I'm going to guess its a publicity move from senile leaders desperate to rouse some nationalism for re-election.
Why isn't China stopping this? I'm going to guess this outcry is actually convenient for them. The Police haven't even interfered once, and there are big organizations actually distributing things to throw at buildings/people.
Foreign embassies have been attacked, people have been killed, and its only escalating. The Chinese might even be using this as an excuse to do something drastic. Their Navy has surrounded the island, after all.
