Version 1.0

Beta v0.2
Quote from pvpproject:
With the press of a button, turn Guild Wars 2 into a true action experience. It displays a centered crosshair (23 available in 1.0, with adjustable positions), and moving the mouse now turns your character and camera. Whenever you cast a spell or action, it will temporarily lock on and perform on whatever is underneath the crosshair. Left-Click auto-attacks [AKA triggers your #1 skill without actual auto-attack], Right-Click dodges, & Mouse Scroll can be assigned to whatever you want (All can be changed). Your movement and targeting will be as intuitive, fluid, and accurate as an FPS. Bringing up panels such as Inventory, Map, Hero, etc will toggle you out of combat mode and give you your cursor back.
- Crosshair targeting
- Eliminates Tab & cursor Targeting
- Eliminates the need to hold down Right Click to turn the camera
- Gives you 4 extra, easy to press, buttons to keybind (+ 12 modifiers)
- Left Click, Right Click, Scroll Wheel (and their modifiers) can perform actions (Such as a spell, Dodge, weapon Swap, Auto Attack)
- Seamless integration with GW2. Opening panels such as Inventory and Hero Panel will switch you out of Combat Mode
What else Combat Mode is useful for:
Disabilities & Injuries (such as missing fingers, RSI, Carpell Tunnel): There is no need to hold Right-Click any more. Adds 4 easy to press keys to the mouse (+12 modifiers). Adds an easy-to-press key to the keyboard.
Vision Impairment: The default cursor can be hard to see in the midst of combat (even for people with unimpaired vision). Combat Mode always sets the cursor to the center of the screen, with the option to display large and bright crosshairs.
Xpadder / Game Pads: Combat Mode is the perfect solution for people who use gamepads. Simply select a button to be your Combat Mode "Toggle" key and away you go.
Combat Mode is still in development. 1.1 will have almost identical features, but with a few extra things to made the mod easier to use. Including, 60+ crosshairs, User interface to adjust crosshair and keybinds, and bug fixes.

Wow. This is like ... exactly what I need during battle.
Thanks so much for sharing! I just have a question.
Quote from Rin;954370:
There are some people who report FPS drops, due to the crosshair having to be redrawn. This can be disabled to improve FPS by typing in " ; " in the crosshair draw function.
Where exactly do you place the " ; "? What file do you edit - because I can't seem to find the crosshair draw function.
In addition - if I were to disable it, what would be affected?
Thanks in advance.~

It's basically just getting rid of the crosshair, since for some reason, it lags for some people.
Open customize.txt with Notepad.
Put " ; " in front of
Crosshair_Height = 0.40 ; (top) 0.01 - 0.99 (bottom)
Crosshair := "Info & Files/Crosshairs/ring.png"
Wow this is so awesome, thank you much for sharing.
I wasn't going to use this at first, because the crosshairs they had were all ugly, but I made a pretty one for myself.
This mod solves basically all of my targeting problems.

I have mixed feelings on it for ranged combat. After all, ranged combat still "locks on" even if you're using this mod's crosshair system.
But it makes melee combat so much more fun for me, especially since targeting isn't as important and you usually have splash damage over long animations.

I just hold my right mouse button and it does the same.

Do you have "Promote skill target" on?

Are the rest of the script's functions fine?
If they are, did you make sure the path folder is correct?

No, I'm wondering if you changed that. As long as it says "Info & Files/Crosshairs/ring.png" or any of the .png inside that folder.
Also make sure the GW2 is in windowed fullscreen, or else your computer won't draw the crosshair overlay.
