I decided to play around with a little program called Spiral Spy today. Its a model viewer for Spiral Knights. Its kinda glitchy but nice for picking out what will look awesome together easily. (Because SK allows all armor to be costume armor; not just special costume pieces)
Anyway, I remade my Knight, with my actual shield and weapon, and then paused during one of the animations (because you can play animations in Spiral Spy), took a screenshot, and then edited it.
Normally, because of models and textures, the coat's mesh cuts through the bandanna, and its kinda funky. I removed the cutting, and painstakingly recolored and blurred the mask back in. Then I selected parts of the image, added blurs (like the motion blur on the hammer, and the motion blur on the shield and arm). Then I added a slight focus blur to give a minor depth focus thing going; the head, part of the center coat thing, and the foot is still crisp and sharp, and everything else is blurred slightly.
So uh... how did I do? Its a fairly simple edit so... :P
EDIT: Here is a version without any edits, in a similar pose.
