any games worth playing?

I think I'll keep playing league, but I just wanna play some games when my friends aren't online.

If that's the case, I recommend the two new loot-based RPGs, Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2. Both have offline play, and both do it well.

I also recommend Dustforce if you like speed run platformers with an online leaderboard and level creator.

If you like L4D2, give Killing Floor a try too.

Finally, Guild Wars is Guild Wars. I recommend choosing a server where most of your friends are on, or if you don't have any that plays GW2, a server that has a healthy investment in WvW (server vs. server vs. server mode) like Henge of Denravi.

Works on most games, just not ones released in the last month and something else....
You pay $45 with it for GW2

If you're interested in anything on Steam, I'd suggest only picking a few titles you really want now and then holding off until Winter sales or picking up the ones on daily deal/midweek sales/weekend sales.
