is there even a difference between age 17 and age 10 beside the 10 week wait ? or is it cuz my character is somewhat powerful that what i can kill at 17 i can also obliterate at 10 ?

Splat. Just like everyone else, use the damn wiki. Mabinogi isnt like other mmos without a reliable database.

Different ages provide different stat gains per level up (also differ between races) and the age up bonuses are different as well.
