The ribbon cable connecting the power button board to the motherboard ripped off. I was asking around to see if I could just get it fixed with re-soldering, but the prongs are too tiny.
I'll have to buy a new power button board off eBay..:shoe:

use a metal object like a screw driver to form a circuit between the 2 pins you connect your power-on cable to.
Pretty much doing what the power button does when you push on it.
