I am a giant fan of the mahou shoujo genre, but I have to admit I really hated SHAFT's Madoka. Like, I loathed it to hell. I can only hope this time it'll follow the same recipe that most kid's mahou shoujo shows follow (Precure, Ojamajo)-- only with SHAFT's special touch of focused fanservice. SHAFT is one of my favorite studios, so I can only hope they follow through with this.
