With g11 coming out this is something we should think about. From what I've been told only the top 100 alchemists in each server can hold the title "Royal Alchemist" each week. The decision is made based on an achievement journal and current alchemy skills(how much skills weigh on the decision is still unknown.)
Here's the wiki page that gives details on the journal:

As you can see humans have a bit of an unfair advantage, but I still have hope as a giant with plenty of high rank Alchemy skills!

is the journal ONLY for royal alchemy? Cuz it'd be cool if there were other prizes attached to it... it'd give us stuff to do.

I am sad that they stop giving points to people after level 10000. Must be a way of Nexon telling people to just quit when you are level 10000 because Nexon got all of your money already.

A Human can become a Paladin, then change into a Dark Knight for an extra +50 pts. :P
Also, darn Seal Breakers!! They get an easy 300 pts.
And "Finish part-time job 30000 times completely"..... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, THEY ARE HILARIOUS.

I doubt there is anything to do after that level besides ruling the economy with the life skills you have.

rofl, and all you get for it is 200 points.
Well, not liking the fact that you can get a lot of points from Shadow Missions, but none for dungeons. Anyway...

C3 is all about Alchemy is you haven't noticed.
And most of it takes place in the Shadow Realm. I think that's why they didn't include dungeons.

I gave up because I realised that on populated servers you need to have a whole load of alchemy ranks and journal accomplishments (suspected to be especially on leveling and level ratio because I noticed a lot of level 100 records and some very low level alchemists).
Don't worry about race, I actually see a couple of giant/elf characters making it, even with lower journal points. I think it's moderated.

Honestly, what do most of the things in that journal have to do with alchemy at all?

I really hope I can discover at least one of the cylinder upgrades.

Do these take effect once you receive the journal or you'd have to do all the achievements once you get it? Say for example, you've already reached a lvl of 50 in an rb....Do you have to do it again for the journal or is it automatically updated once you get it?
So in essence, it's active, high total people with high alchemy skill ranks that are most likely to get the position?

At least level 1k+ due to completion bonuses that involve hard level shadow missions.
and I'm not sure about the current level counter.
