I just want to make thes etwo video series more popular, don't think you can start an argument with me.
"Why I am no longer a creationst"
"Why do people laugh at creationists?"
They're pretty intersting even if you have no need of confirmation that it is bogus, I suggest you watch them, or at least a bit of each.

Sorry, but I would like to keep ~10x40 minutes of my life

the thing is
most creationists deny that there's any evidence for evolution
which is obviously wrong
and then proceed to overload arguements with BS so people have to ignore them or go through migraines debunking each one
btw nice to see you in this hell hole

Well, not with this anymore! Just spam the video links and be done with it. It's more about avoiding easily mislead people to be convinced into believing complete falsehoods than to sway those with deep faith in it. They don't care for the truth anyway.

I've only met a few creationists that deny evidence for evolution...and those are usually the people who also aren't allowed to watch Barney or the Teletubbies on account of them being 'too magical.'
All the rest believe that the two are not mutually exclusive.

Damn man, I haven't watched a Thunderf00t video in who knows how long. He's got some great videos. I stopped watching videos like these a long time ago since I've combed many a topic like these and I'm just bored of the whole topic (I spent a lot of time in my late middle school, early high school years sculpting my ideologies in many things, the most prominent being religion, or in my case deciding not to have any) , but I myself would recommend them to just about anyone who's curious about the topic.
But yeah. Creationists are just full of shit, "transitional fossils don't exist" my ass.

I was actually shocked when I met someone who didn't believe in Evolution. Every other religious person I knew believed in it. "I didn't come from MONKEYS." The way she said it made it seem like a matter of pride more than anything else.

I think that sense of Pride is that "Man is not an animal" to most people, like they want to believe that we are more special than we actually are. While our minds are highly developed in contrast to other organisms, in the end we're just another animal really. Some people don't like that school of thought because it's discomforting.

Science does show that humans did in fact not evolve from monkeys, contrary to what was previously believed. Or at the very least, it didn't happen as recently as some believed some time ago.

I largely thought our orgins started like many other animals and monkeys were a stepping stone a longggg time ago

Monkey evolved from our ancestor.
So it's like monkey is our retarded brother.

Also, man never evolved from monkeys. He evolved from apes, or rather is an ape.

Thought man evolved from species that is already extinct. And seeing how we do not share the same genus as apes, I don't see how we evolved/are apes.
I mean humans and apes are both primates, but I wouldn't go as far as genus.

It's called Hominidae. Of which the subfamily we belong to is called Homininae, of whom we are the only known surviving species to date.
