Out of nowhere, there a large thud.
It turns out that a small bird somehow crashed into the glass window.
It fell on its back.
and not moving
The cat doesnt know whether it's alive or knocked out.
What should the cat do with it?

if you think its alive or knocked out, get like a shoebox, put holes in it, and put the bird in the dark, then when you think its recovered (If thats all thats wrong, if not you could bring it to a vet) release it.

If you don't care about the bird, leave it alone for like a day. After a day, just poke at it to see if it is dead or not. If it is dead, put it in a bag and put it in a trashcan or something.
If you care about bird/animal, try calling one of those animal-loving-organization for help/advice?
