And then take out the blank vs. blank pvp, so you cant randomly get killed, add tons of member only content, and no non member content, and a ton of quests....For the members!
To be fair, Runescape membership is incredibly cheap compared to anything in Mabinogi's cash shop...or God forbid the Combat arms cash shop.

You guys make it sound like theres no real benefit already, if some 'rich kiddie' just spent NX on gacha and then sold the rares they could get a Union w/e hat without much more difficulty. Personally I dont mind the idea but I'd rather we went back to 30k dyes V_V
or 10k dyes.

I've used the system plenty of times. In fact, I've been fueling my nao support fee entirely off of profits made from the Mabinogi Open Market/Trading System.
And what was described on the 1st page is actually wrong.
For reference, 100NP = 1000NX
When you register an item for open market, you must pay a fee of 1000 gold.
The item will stay on the market for 7 days, after which it is returned to you if it is not sold.
Prices work this way:
You may price an item for a MINIMUM of 100NP (and no maximum, it seems. Occasionally I see some people put stuff up for 999999999NP quickly and then withdraw it, since it can kinda be used as a storage system.)
Then, the game adds 100NP to the price you set, and then it adds a 10% additional NP fee.
So, if you decide to sell something that will get you 100NP, people will pay 210NP for you to get that 100NP.
So, if someone wants to get 800NP from a FB10, they'd put 800NP as the price but the game will add 100NP to that price, then add another 10%, so people will pay 980NP for that page.

Seems like an interesting concept. I'd like to see how it would work first.. in mabi.

When I saw NP, I thought neopoints >.>
Because the MTS in maple doesn't allow nx from surveys, is it possible in the mabi mts to use the nx from surveys there? Or do you have a different system for nx.

I heard from my boyfriend who plays MS that prices are extremely inflated over there (in terms of NX), so I don't really like this idea...plus, I think a lot of people would rather put their items up for NX rather than item trades or gold, making people who don't have NX go into a bit of a pickle.

If there is going to be an MTS on Mabi. It's ONLY going to be from prepaid.
That why there is no possible reason for a chargeback. No scamming possibilities and no money loss by nexon.

In order to sell 10k NX, you need to spend 12k NX >_<
Last time I checked MTS...2 months ago...if you wanted to sell an item for 110 NX (minimum) the buyer would have to pay 600+ NX o.o
Ratio of tax to price went down at higher prices though

It used to add on 1xx instead of 5xx. Nexon said that people were using it for storage in Maple, so they changed it. What a stupid excuse.. -.- The tax is lower than the old system by about 3% though.
