so for some reason my pc's time always derps out by 2 hours, I'm constantly changing it to the right time and it somehow manages to go back to 2 hours before the current time.
Windows 7, btw

make sure it's got the right timezone and DST settings (it's probably a DST issue). Then set it to the correct time and on the "internet time" tab, sync to this address: 0.pool.ntp.org

Did you wind the internet clock inside the computer? Might need a key and a crank. Its right underneath the processor, so you'll have to rip that out first.

Do you dual boot with a Linux OS, by any chance? If you've installed Linux and you told it to adjust the clock as well, then it and Windows will clash.

is it when you turn the PC off for a while that it messes up when you turn it back on?
Might be the BIOS clock, look up how to get in the BIOS for your PC manufacturer to set the clock there and see if it's right. If not fix it, and if it keeps happening you might need to change the little battery on your motherboard. That battery keeps the clock and BIOS settings alive even if your PC is off/unplugged.

Tested it, and yeah still doing it, it happens every time I shut off my PC.

There is a battery on the motherboard that keeps the BIOS clock running - it might be running low on power, change the battery.
Are you using a Mac to dual boot between Windows 7 and Mac OS X? If so, there is a known issue when you switch between the Mac and Windows the clock doesn't keep track correctly.

Me.
It's in my room, only several feet from my bed, thus it's weird to sleep with it on. Releases heat and static crap, has some fans, etc. Also, turning it off saves like 8 hours of electricity you wouldn't have been awake for anyway. Turn it on first thing in the morning when getting up and it's already ready when you want to use it after getting ready for the day/eating/whatever.
