Please note me to register, since I am working on transferring all my stuff from Guru to Mabination.
The tournament will take place only if we can find enough people willing to fight. Rules and entry stuff is listed below.
Entry Requirements:
NONE. This is a free event hosted by Artemis guild. I am holding the event as a socialization thing, to get our guild name out there and possibly find some other guilds willing to ally with ours.
All levels welcome, from noob to uber paladin with mad skills!
Tournament Style:
10% dueling damage. Fleeing allowed to a reasonable distance, but excessive running away like a pansy will disqualify you.
The tournament will be placed into "tiers". This means that it will be broken into different tournaments, with the lowest being open to "noobies" and the highest being unlimited.
These tiers make it possible for new characters to participate for the sake of fairness, and keeps high level players from wiping their little noobie bums all over the place XD. I am not yet sure how I will rank the tournaments (combat power, total level, skill levels). The ranks will prevent strong players from entering low level tournaments for easy prizes (yes there will be goodies).
The tournament will be a pairing between two characters, and elimination styled. I might also host a brawl battle if I get enough prizes gathered up to offer for it. See rules for details.
Prohibitions:
To keep the game fair for players who are poor in both NX and in game money the following are prohibited to be used during the tournament. Few items are banned because I want an interesting tournament! Players using prohibited items will be disqualified from the tournament and unable to receive any sort of prize!
Banned items include: All ego weapons, pets and everything the cash shop sells.
Everything cash shop sells, even if you bought it in a player shop. This means: No accessories other than wedding rings, no full restores, elixirs, nao stones, strength buffing junk, or anything else. This levels the playing ground. If you cannot win based on your own character's merits, then do not enter the tournament.
Pets may be summoned out of battle for like healing and the like, but not while you are fighting another player. Even if the pet is on the sidelines, not battling, players can receive special stat boosts from pets being out, giving an unfair advantage.Pets also can be uber fighters, depending on how well it is trained, which does not show off your strength, but only the strength of something your purchased.
Ego weapons are very high maintenance and cost alot to maintain. They cost alot of money, meaning that poor players cannot afford them. Again, I want the fight to be based on YOUR strength, not the level of your ego.
Transformations: ARE PERMITTED in the highest tournament, but NOT in the lower level tournaments. I do this because i see some new characters who are lucky enough to have powerful friends that let them follow them through the dungeons to get their trans, while others have to genuinely earn it. It is not fair to a new character who has yet to make friends to have to fight a transformed character that was fortunate enough to have some powerful allies prior to playing. Most high level characters are able to do the transformation quests, so I permit it in those tournaments.
Skills: Mirage missle/poison/final hit (since it is an endless barage)/and golem transmutation.
For a tournament tier to be made, there must be a BARE MINIMUM of 5 people in that tier. Any less, and I will not hold it. If there are less than 10 per tier, the prize will be significantly reduced.

Tournament Rules:
1. The tournament is a fight to the death. Therefore, the first person to die loses. (no resurrection allowed until victor is named please)
2. Use of banned items [see above] automatically sets the other character to winning status and disqualifies you to any winnings/mention etc.
3. Accidental logging out/kicking will be dealt with according to what the judges and other combatant can agree upon.
4. Winners are chosen based upon the final judgement of the judges (myself and officer Kaminari99. Other judges may be named if there is a huge turnout). Bias will not be shown, so do not pull any "but I'm your friend" crud. I also do not judge based on gender of players, because they are all pixelated pieces of data, and therefore not "Hawt" "shmexy" or any other form of attractive. The people who win are those who follow the rules and perform the best!
5. Characters of higher tiers may NOT enter lower leveled tournaments. However, anyone can enter tournaments at or above their assigned tier! That means, a level 100+ giant with smash r1 may NOT enter the noobie tournament, but may enter their tournament, OR the highest ranked tournaments.
6. This should go without saying, but no healing of any sort by characters outside of the tournament should take place. This means that spectators or non combatants CANNOT heal the two people fighting. This means absolutely no outside interference will be tolerated of any sort. The fight is between the combatants only!
7. Please do not run into the battle field. This makes it hard for combatants to click effectively on their opponent.
8. No use of poisoning (mirage missle, snake venom, poison potions, etc) as it ignores duel damage limits, making it an unfair advantage.
Other Information on the Tournament:
Time: Saturday, April 17th at 7 p.m.
Location: Pantay Swamps (see picture) Channel 4
Tried to pick a location with few to no monster spawns.

Attendance: Anyone may participate, but only those who sign up prior to the beginning of the tournament may enter it. You can sign up for a higher level tournament if it has not yet begun though. If you are assigned a space in a tournament and do not show up, you forfeit your match. Spectators are welcome!
All combat pairings for the tournament will be formed by me and Kaminari99 randomly to prevent bias. Meaning, I am going to number your names and flip coins to set up the pairings.
I will be handling all sign-up information, unless it becomes so overwhelming that I need assistance from someone. In which case, it will likely be someone in my own guild.
Musicians welcome for "half-time" shows! Those interested in performing should contact me, as I might pay a small fee for the entertainers (500 gold ea or something like that) if you are skilled enough and provide GOOD music. These are essentially potty/snack/stretch breaks for the players attending. I might have a small concession stand open, charging a small amount for cooked goodies.
And now for the best part...
