I spawned inside the canopy of a tree. Either the was already enough room for me to fit in there, or it just deleted the leaf blocks and placed me there. Have never had this happen before.

Happened to me once on 1.3. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or what...

One time I spawned and caught fire...
I had no fucking clue what happened, just stared at the screen for a while.

Well that would have actually made sense, even if it's a bug.
I was just testing the spawn on a server (deleted my player data so it was technically my first time logging in, fresh spawn), in a town, no fire anywhere, no mobs, world guard on to prevent fire spread and all that...
Log on, catch fire.

What happened is the tree must have been low enough, The limit for spawning on anything is like 16 but the Chance that you caused the leaves to go away. Its not possible. But that does happen alot in terraria. :glasses:

Yes. Just a few days ago I typed in random gibberish for a seed, and I spawned underwater drowning. I just barely made it up in time not to die. I swam for like, 20 minutes and there was no land above ground anywhere.

I probably would have stayed on that world and played it if boats in minecraft weren't so shitty. Though I don't know where I would have gotten a tree. I guess I could have dug up some dirt from the bottom and built a platform then hacked in a single sapling and just gone from there.
