I ended up buying this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+15.6%22+Laptop+-+6GB+Memory+-+750GB+Hard+Drive+-+Black/6769421.p;tab=reviews?id=1218806578389&skuId=6769421#tab=overview
And I already have problems.
- A stuck pixel - it's purple. It may be small but it's one of those things where you notice it, and you can't stop looking at it =_= I already tried various "Unstucking" methods like "massaging" and pen caps and such. It's still there.
- When it sleeps, the screen turns black. I try to turn it back on or get it to resume but it still gets stuck on a black screen. I can see my pointer and move it around, but I can't bring up any menu whatsoever. Only solution is to remove the battery and put it back in.
I don't know what is with my luck with laptops. Both of those had some kind of defect. The HP Envy, I traded it in with this Asus which I might have to go in and trade it AGAIN. The Envy's battery was defective or something~ the charger, maybe.
@Micho - I have a different Envy. Mine was: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/HP+-+ENVY+15.6%26%2334%3B+Laptop+-+6GB+Memory+-+750GB+Hard+Drive+-+Natural+Silver/6819205.p?id=1218808163771&skuId=6819205&st=HP%20envy%20m6%20laptop&cp=1&lp=2
T__T I'm not sure what to get. I almost just want to stick with my pikachu laptop right now because the the new ones are defective. Maybe it's a "sign" I should just keep dealing with random electrocutions ROFL
I'll go in and see if they can fix the two issues with the Asus. If not, I'll just cash out 1k$ laptop. If that gets defective... EFF buying a new laptop. I give up.[/SPOILER]
