Even though your service has expired, you can continue to sell items in your house. This guild will teach you how.
When you have no service you are barred from entering your house, but that doesn't stop you from making ads to your house or changing the prices of your items.
To access the items in you house first click on the sign in front of your house.

After clicking it you will see the following window.

Here you can do everything you can normally do except place new items in your house. You might think that makes it completely useless but that is not the case. You can still sell all the items you placed in you house before your service expired and you can still change the price of them. You can take items out of your house to make sales that exceed 5 million and you can still transfer money to your bank or withdraw money to your inventory.
Tip: to maximize the use of your house, put everything you might want to sell in your house. Put the item up with 9999999 price if you are unsure if you want to sell it. Fill the extra slots with holy water.
For Ruairians only:
The Simply guild is having almost 9 pages of houses in the Duglad District with auctions ending before your free service ends. It is located at the east exit of the Dugald Aisle map which is south of Tir Chonaill or north of Dunbarton. Use the trick this thread taught you to keep selling items in a house even though your service expired. We have many houses for you to choose from and they are only 10% tax. The first house bidding ends on the Nov 24th at 2:40 PM PST or 5:40PM EST.
Here are some helpful tips on getting a house.
Sort the auction Bulletin Board by Auction Close to get the find the house with the closest end time.

We have worked hard to make it so that no houses end at the same time so feel free to bid on the cheapest and lowest tax house. If you don't win, go retrieve your bid money and proceed to the next house and bid on that.
Some people like to sit in front of the house the placed a bid on. If you are hoping to get away with a really low bid, seeing someone in front of a house might mean there is a good chance you will be out bid if you make a really low one. You can either up your bid or go to the next house and make a bid there.
Be patient. If you don't win a bid, keep trying. If you have a lot of items to sell, it is worth the effort.
Happy House Hunting.
