I'm thinking about asking for one for christmas...
But what's the cost of one on a 2 year contract?
I have no idea how much anything costs, maybe include monthly cost estimates and the entire 2 year contract?
I tried googling this stuff and I found 1800$ For the entire two year contract was the cost.... Then when i scrolled down to the comments, they all said BS.
I'd like to know the truth.

$199- 16gb
$299- 32gb
$399- 64gb
(I don't know if there are any discounts for iPhones but this is from the Apple site)
Without 2 year contract is $600-$800?
For data cost, what service do you plan on using?

I have a 4S and it would use the same monthly cost as a 5.
No idea about other providers but I pay 74 a month for 1GB of data, unlimited text, long distance call after 5pm and weekends, 200 local minutes, my 10 (unlimited call anytime to 10 numbers), unlimited picture messaging and the who's calling thing (shows the number on the screen when they call..)
It would be 74 if on a 2 year as well since having less years on a contract only affects the initial cost of the phone. so 74x24= close to $1800 for two years. Obviously this could be cheaper if you chose not to get the extra stuff like picture messaging, who's calling and as much data.
I'm with Bell in Canada so I have no idea about the US and their plans.
And no there wont be a new iPhone in a few months. It will be at least a year till the 6. And I would wait for the 6. The 5 is basically a small buffed 4S.

Well, this is Apple we are talking about. Next thing they release is usually just a few months after they released the previous version for it.

Ducky you are on an expensive plan holy sh-
I pay like $40 a month for a lil bit of data (like 250mb) and unlimited everything else. I bought my phone separately though. I'd recommend buying an iPhone off contract unless you get a really good deal (aka $50 a month with more data type deals).
