You may remember me from such introductory posts as Ahoy-hoy and, well, nothing else I guess, since I only made one. In it, I mentioned that I was looking for a guild. Well, HERE I AM!
What I want from a guild:
- Help - I am a newbie. Sure, I played Mabi a long time ago, but even then I was still a newbie.
- Cool People - This sorta goes without saying, but I'd a friendly community, preferably the active sort who maybe have an IRC and/or a forum.
- Encouragement - Perhaps my favourite set of skills in the game (possibly even if I don't disclude combat, because I DO enjoy combat) are the music ones, by which I mean Playing Instrument and Composing (and, I guess, Musical Knowledge too, but that's just to listen to more music that Mabi has made). I'd like a guild that recognises the merit of "soft skills".
- Fun - Finally, I'd like a guild that has cool events, like dungeon pet runs, or music bands, or even just participates in the Guild events.
Now I realise I'm asking a lot from a guild, so I guess I'd best say what I can offer. Well, as I said, I'm very music into the music, so I hope to be able to provide people with cool music (not all of which will have been made by me personally, but could just be stuff I've found that is cool). I'm active, and hope to continue to be active (something which finding a good guild is more likely to ensure). But the thing I can offer most is just me. I enjoy talking. I like talking about my interests, the game, the guild, time travel, whatever. I like doing things that I find to be fun (of which Mabinogi is one). Sure, I'm not the best fighter/musician/tailor/<insert other skill here>, but who was during their first week? (Yes, I registered for Mabi 1 week ago).
