Patching Problems

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. Well I've uninstalled Mabinogi to try to somehow fix the whole mess of me crashing everytime I were to do any sort of the following actions:
- Logout
- Change Channel
- Go to Housing
And since the whole game was working fine, but I was just having to deal with all of that I tried to re-download the game from the website and I managed to do it and got the 114 version client apparently when finished downloading, however the problem comes when I try to patch the game. I manage to get the 'extracting' files part and at some point or another it suddenly stops giving me this message that I should re-patch again or reboot, which I've done multiple times by now in the past four or so hours.

I did try to manual patch, but the manual patch on the website is.. severely outdated and it goes back to version 114 when I want to get to the newer version? If anyone can link a manual patch to the newest version that'd be appreciated and I am not modding or anything either, if you were wondering.

Step 1) Make sure you're not running any unnecessary programs other than Mabinogi. For me, I only run my web browser and Winamp, a music player. I know of several people that crashed because of some other program simply minding its own business.

Step 2) Make sure you have a good video card, and check your computer specs. If you don't know what "specs" are good, just list them here and I can check for you. If you don't know how to check for your computer specs, google it. You just need to right click on "My computer" and click on properties, but the location varies by OS.

Step 3) It might be a good idea to take a screenshot of the problem, no matter how insignificant it might be. Remember you can take one by pressing "Print Screen" button and then "Ctrl + V" in Paint.

Okay, this is weird, but NOW all of a sudden when I try to get a screenshot of the error of it during patching.. it decides to work. Of all times. -facepalms-
