How long until an infraction disappears? Or will they always be there (when I click the settings button?)

They have an expiration date listed along with the infraction.

The points for the infraction received go until the expiration date. However, after the expiration date the infraction will still remain. It just won't count toward getting banned or whatnot.

Hmph. I just dislike seeing it there.

That's how I'm feeling at the moment.
If I have to stare at them, might as well make the list longer, right? It's the fact that it's just one, sitting there, that bothers me.

Where are they? I've never seen any but I've been banned so I must have one.

On your profile under the infractions tab. Yes, it has its own tab. Don't think other ppl can see 'em though.

Then you must have done some one-time bad thing that was worthy of a ban, rather getting infractions that add up to one. I have no idea, go ask a mod =/

Oh, I don't care. I just wanted to know why I couldn't see them. Lul.

Really? That's an interesting way of looking at it. I would advise against trying to make the list longer though :XD:
I think it's a good thing to have expired infractions still show up. You know, to remind us of the things we've done wrong in the past. Not to necessarily fret over it, since it's already been dealt with - but like ... to be careful in the future.
Or to know what areas of the rules are difficult for people to follow.
Of course, with only one infraction - this really doesn't apply to you. I'm just saying in general.

Mine was a mistake. I would've sworn I had written something, but all that went through was an emoticon.
So I got slapped with a spam infraction. I mean...jesus, the threads some people start. They're obvious spam yet they're not dealt with :[
But oh well.
