From the videos, G11 boss looks very possible to beat without Ranged...
Just need to have a fast mount, and a swift eye.
Also, Royal Alchemists~ So you don't have to solo.

You don't need Ranged, I've seen people do it with just Smash/WM.

Meele can easily do uroboros.
just get a good two handed weap (im planning to use jousting clay) for boost in smash and explosion resistant armor.
the general combo would be, ohko the uro body with smash, then charge spear of light to heavily damage the body.

Smashmill suffices against uroboros with human/giant. Try and keep a mount near you as well for movement around the area and avoiding its attacks. Mana shield can help if you think you're going to take a hit. I can only see elves using ranged against him anyway since they have an advantage with mounted archery.
Definitely try and get an royal alchemist to help you with your final or any of the possible g11 sms even.
I might be willing to try infinite dk with str roll just for this boss. Although this probably means no mana shield and cannot crit outside of wm.

Passed 1k levels just as I finished G10 final on Adv.
R1 Windmill, R9 Smash, and no other notable melee skills.
R4 Blaze is useless. R1 Ice Spear damage is too low, and doesn't wound, so the thing just regenerates HP. R6 Thunder is too slow. Long load time means more chance of getting hit while charging, more running around is less hits on the head.
And no R1 Firebolt for CC Fire. No alchemist guildies.

Well, I am rather worried about the other G11 missions. With Ouroboros, at least,
even if you do little damage you can chip away at them with time, so long as you dodge attacks.
Other missions? Not so much.
I'll just drag poor Stace along on all my missions then.

1 hour time limit on Ouroboros, and I think the attacks get stronger as time passes.
I found a video of someone using CC firebolt to beat it. :D

Yeah, the time limit worries me only a tiny bit though.
I'm not THAT weak that I can't kill it within 1 hour.

Nvm smashmill. I think wm is actually quite useless if you're trying to wound the head unless it's the final blow(no injuries). It's fine for the body if your smash doesn't one shot it. FH daggers can help perhaps?
Blaze doesn't seem practical in this fight since I don't think the knockdown bonus applies either. All adv magic doesn't cut it either since you're rendered immobile and that gives plenty of time for the boss to attack you.
R1 Firebolt may help but keep in mind, magic doesn't wound (I think) and you'd have to be constantly casting it quickly. Not to mention I think the Fire Uroboro is fire elemental so you'd still need other ways to damage it. Actually, you should remove all elemental enchants for this fight even.

Well, since the Heads have Adv. Heavy Stander, wouldn't FH be pointless? Is there a point on using it, other than teleportation on Adv Heavy Stander?
