Need advice on which weapon to ego for my Giant

  Getting a Broad Axe currently at the moment is out of my reach. I know that giants really should get the dex for a Warhammer and all, it's just harder than other races. There's no takers for a sword+shield since with that, you can use a Jousting Claymore. For now, it's between Iron Mace and Battle Hammer. Also, even if I was to get a Broad Axe, honestly, a BH ego would not be just for full swing. I'd more use it for Smash and what not like Juno stated. Along with more stun, it may prove more helpful. At the same time though, I could use the Iron Mace with a shield, or dual it with another Iron Mace and have stronger windmill and better N+ damage.

  .........Yeah, I still haven't decided yet at all. I'm starting to lean a bit more towards the ego Iron Mace now, and it's all thanks to those 2hander enchants. Transcendence has a very valid point about them and that's making me think more about a Iron Mace. Besides, I've never seen a giant use their Battle Hammer ego normally, they only pull it out for Full Swing purposes. I also have another question, so Imma just ask it here. Between Colin and Valencia, which armor would you choose? Most people would say Colin, but you could get Burst Knight enchants and put them on Valencia to get explosion and stomp resistance. Colin already has Explosion, but it also has stamina reduction, which I have no idea how much of a difference it makes. Between those armor choices, which would you choose?

  Colin, hands down.
  
  Stomp resist isn't too useful especially since Golem stomps are easy to pet-counter.

Imma go with the ego Battle Hammer. However, feel free to discuss ego BH vs Iron Mace ego if y'all still want too. Also, Colin's reduction would make stuff like Smash and WM cost 8 stamina. Not to much of a difference.....

  I was talkin about the difference in stamina usage, not the repair cost. Still does seem that Colin is better regardless, even though it's harder to get. It's just to bad that it can't be blacksmithed, so it can have more dur and protection like Valencia can.

  Get a 6/4 Defensive Stone Colin from auction house. I bet it'd be almost the same cost as trying to buy a Colin from another player.
