I've been to a bunch of forums that aren't mabinogi related and they're really strict. Well, not strict, but, the word would be... limiting, I guess. owo
I've seen people get warnings if their posts are under 25 words. Like, if someone put up a signature or something for CnC, this one person said, "It looks nice, good job." and a mod went and edited it, with an image (I guess it happens often), saying "You've just received a warning. Please put more contribution into your posts, and try to write more than 25 words."
Also, another site has a gallery full of sprites for video making, custom poses and such, and you have to have 250+ posts to view it. Like, I understand the concept of it, but 250 posts is a lot.
They also hand out warnings like candy. 3 warnings (for short posts, off-topicness, and other things that we do every single day here) lead to a 7 day ban and when you return, one more warning would be a permanent ban.
I never stick around on these sites, they're just too .. eh. :stress:

I know some forums that deactivates your account if you're not activate for a very long time. Like Kazuni also mentions, there's some sections in the forums where you can't view unless you have an amount of posts or contribute something.
But those forums usually give something in return, like downloads or something and they don't want people leeching off of their stuff.

Wow, 250? The most I ever seen was 50 posts, but that was to reduce spam and idiots.
Warning someone for saying that something is a nice job is a bit much, but I can see why people would like more than "Nice job. I like it." and have some actual criticism, or why you like.

Not surprising. Memes are dumb and not funny 90% of the time.

Depends on your sense of humor.
I know of one site with really stupid rules. Animal Crossing Community.

I wonder why they don't just set a filter to not allow you to post if it is under 25 words.. o.o
