So. I went to take out the motherboard from a PC I have in my shed

  it's a good motherboard, I was going to send it to a friend who accidentally fucked his up, when I went to remove it I discovered that someone welded it to the case, meaning I cannot remove it by hand without breaking it.

  It was an old motherboard anyway, it would probably be incompatible.

  It was only a year old xD
  I had gotten the tower cheap, it had no GPU, but that parts were good.
  It was a BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA (6GB), it was a good motherboard and in good shape.
  The person who soldered it should be slapped with a mullet.
  
  I'm assuming they did it to avoid it from being stolen.
  It's a $100 motherboard, not the best out there but definitely not the cheapest.
