Though I haven't played Drift City ever since it was moved to Gamescampus.
I played it a ton back when Ijji was it's host.

I played a few months with a buddy when it moved. It's still good. Or it was then. It may've been a couple years now? Maybe less time has passed than that.

I have fun with those mmos. I find them much more fun than doing chores in virtual world.

Planetside 2 is basically everything uninteresting in modern MMOs to me. I only played it once, but would actually play it again as it's not that bad. The thing is, it's such an uninvolved experience. With hundreds of people on the field, no one player's actions really matter that much. A really skilled player cannot simply sign in and win the way they could in an FPS or another skill based game, because every battle is far bigger than themselves. It's quite aimless as well, as no battle has an end and it's just about temporary territory control, which will likely shift in the opposite direction after you go to bed and wake up again. It's an endless team battle to nothing where the fun is in the journey, and yet you have virtually no control over the journey. Even Minecraft feels like it has more of a purpose.
I know the way I word this makes it seem like Planetside is an epic adventure where you must go with the flow and take life as it comes, but it's really not. You're locked into battlefields with some weapons and you just, well, do stuff. It's almost like it's designed to be inherently super casual. Maybe it's because I'm more of a loner and don't particularly enjoy forming clans that never dip below 50 online at a time just to gain satisfaction from the game, but it's a trend in modern games that I hope goes away sooner rather than later.

Yeah... you will have much more fun if you have some friends and in an outfit.

Raiderz - a nice action MMORPG.
Here's my thoughts on the game:
