I've been scrapping a lot of things. I'm closely stalking Murasaki's art tutorial for weeks now, and it's amazing how her progression from simple sketch to final art piece pieces together. I know it mostly involves a unique style of painting, and since I've never painted in my entire time, I tried experimenting with it. I've got to hand it to Murasaki; she's so talented with her work. Lots of sketches were archived mainly because I didn't have a sense of direction of where to go. I think this one was the closest that came to completion, until I didn't know what shade of gray to use for the lights and mediums(And accidentally merging the crummy line-art with the paint so it made it hard to outline).

[/SPOILER]I've probably been thinking the wrong way: that I can get my art to be the way I want it to in a fortnight when in reality, it'll take years to even get it to where I want my art to shoot towards. I don't draw doodles and sketches now because I'm afraid to be ambitious to take the next step with coloring/shading, only to have it fall into ruin because it isn't going the way I want it to go. I've got to keep drawing to get to that goal, not completely give up when it doesn't look the way I want.
