Yeah...so I sort of broke my motherboards CPU socket, I need a new motherboard anyway, problem is that I know "nothing" about motherboards or even have to install one in so-could I get some help from the lovely Nation? I promise I'll make it up to you, promise~
This is the motherboard I "am" looking at-

Along with this one-

My budget honestly is 40-65 bucks because I have to pay the guy fifty to install it, if anyone has any better suggestions for a good motherboard that can support an AMD Phenom II processor and is solid for gaming I'd love to have some help on this.

You are looking for a micro board? Why pay a guy to install it, you can do it by watching youtube videos (and it's easy pretty much)

Trust me, I'm never touching hardware again..ever. I just need a board that can handle my CPU and GPU, and will last a good while too.

I've mentioned this to him already, but he's really scared since he messed up his other one.
But it was an accident, he applied too much thermal paste and when he went to remove the heatsink he ripped the cpu right out with it.
The most he would really have to worry about is static from carpet, but simply touching something that is metal first will rid you of static.
It's extremely easy to install.

He can also hold onto a doorknob or a metal hammer if he's really that scared of the electricity.
Also, he can unplug the computer and then press the power button again the force the rest of the electricity to be used.

Do you know him? If you do he's ripping you off.
I wouldn't pay anyone more than $20 to do it, since it's simple and quick.

I do know him, he's also gonna be doing diagnostic stuff on my parts to see if nothing got fried.

Or you know.
Let it sit there a few days.
The electricity will disperse in a few days time.

Okay, nvm then.
If you think it's the best thing for you to do.
I'd have him look over everything first, though. Just in case your processor is messed up along with anything else.

I blame Hanna.
But seriously, wait a few days and the electricity should be gone.
So basically, have something that's metal, a doorknob, and make sure you touch it RIGHT AFTER TOUCHING THE ELECTRICAL PARTS.
Heck, even touching your case will disperse the electricity.

Ugh, still...okay fine. I'll give it a try on my own...I still need help "finding" a good motherboard though.
