So, I recently received 70 dollars of target gift cards, so, I figured I would get a good game for my friend and I to play cause Brawl has gotten pretty old by this point, I mean, Mario Kart wii is fun but its kinda even more repetitive, and boom blox just looks meh, I want a game with fighting thats actually good, and has like a story maybe, maybe not, depends on the game I guess, just something we can have fun with for a while....So anyone know of any?

Anyone who says Mario party isn't a good choice can die in a fire.
Mario Kart is pretty darn fun too, though that is best reserved for the DS.
Not too sure.

Maybe one of those DBZ games? (I have Tenkaichi 2 and that game was awesome when I was playing it a lot) The amount of characters is so much to the point where it's sickeningly awesome. It's fun for a good while.

Monster Hunter Tri has brilliant multi-player, and is a great game in it's own right.

EVERY SCREENSHOT IS THIS AWESOME. Well, at least 90% of them.

OMG, I was just looking that up, but what I saw said that the multi-player like, with the person sitting next to you offline isn't that great, its more of a one player offline?

Yeah as great as Monster Hunter is, its not multiplayer on single console, which is what I think OP is looking for.

Capcom vs. Tatsunoko is a pretty fun game for the wii if you into the tradition 2d arcade fighters. There's also the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash-Up game which is kinda like a cross between Brawl and Kung Fu Chaos.
Other good Wii Multiplayer games are:
- Bomberman Blast (WiiWare)
- Dokapon Kingdom
- Dr. Mario RX (WiiWare)
- Metal Slug Anthology
- New Super Mario Bros Wii
- Pokemon Battle Revolution (if you have the DS games)
- Pokemon Rumble (WiiWare)
- Tetris Party (WiiWare)
- Sega All-Star Racing (is better on the Xbox 360 and PS3 though)

New Super Mario Bros Wii. You'll have fun laughing as your character does something that leads to the death of one of your friends. Plus, it's Mario in all his platformer glory. What's not to like? If not that, then House of the Dead(2 and 3 or Overkill), but it's only 2-player.
